Kobuci Kert first opened its doors at the Kapolcs Valley of Arts Festival in the summer of 2005. The venue proved to be so successful that it popped every summer since then, and even opened its own place in Óbuda, in the courtyard of the ZichyPalacein 2009, offering folk, blues, jazz, rock and world music (as well as an authentic folk dance house every other Thursday). Now the fourth season is about to kick off, with a huge opening party on April 27th. Drop by to get a taste of György Ferenczi and the Rackajam as well as Budapest Nufolk Revolution (who has even composed an own Kobuci-song for the beloved venue). This season will bring some of the best of the Hungarian music scene: look forward to Tárkány Művek, The Braindogs presenting their Tom Waits tribute, Zita Gereben quintet, Kerekes Band and Budapest Bár – just to name a few…
