Built for the 1896 Millennium, Heroes’ Square is one of the most celebrated tourist spots – a must-see, so to say. Ringed by the Museumof Fine Artsand the Museumof Contemporary Art, the spacious and highly elegant square (mind the beautiful floodlight at night!) hosts the most emblematic guys of the Magyar history (a bunch of kings and revolutionaries) with Archangel Gabriel on top of the column holding the Holy Crown… Warning – 100% history!
