Tours in the Pannonhalma wine region

Date: 1 September 2012, Saturday – 14 October 2012, Sunday
Venue: Pannonhalma

The most active participant of the White Stars ‘Joyride-Shopping Spree’ countrywide wine cellar tour is probably the Pannonhalma Abbey Winery, which awaits you every weekend, even in the harvest period, for a Teaser or Full Plate wine tour.

The Pannonhalma wine region, with its 650 hectares of cultivated vineyards, is one of the smallest wine regions in Hungary, and yet has the longest tradition of viticulture. The area is famous for the excellent quality wine cultivation based on the thousand-year-old tradition of the Benedictine monks, its soft wine-producing technology, and its hospitality.

Explore Pannonhalma Abbey Winery and nearby family vineyards and get introduced to this wine region of unique climatic and geological features, Benedictine traditions and modern technologies.

Participating wineries:

  • Pannonhalma Abbey Winery
  • Babarczi Winery
