The Room party is not just the traditional issue launch party of the bi-annual alternative fashion publication, the Room magazine (this time, the fifteenth!) but also the gathering of Budapest’s creative, fashion and artistic scene. The party is always constructed with strong visual elements and the music is taken quite seriously as well, this time bringing Berlin-based Thieves Like Us to Merlin! At 9 p.m., Waxman hits the stage for a soft opening, at 11 p.m. Thieves Like Us’s DJ set follows. At 1 a.m.Brandon takes over, finally followed by the minimal techno beats of La Cuisine. Tickets cost 1500 HUF.
