National Dance Theater invites you on a journey down The Path of Virtue. Ferenc Fehér’s choreography TAO TE received the Rudolf Lábán award for the best dance performance of 2010. Enjoy a contemporary interpretation of Lao Tzu’s classic and find your own path in Heidegger’s labyrinth of words. The motto of this dance performance was taken from his On the Way to Language – A dialogue between a Japanese and an Inquirer: ‘I have left an earlier point of view, not because I am changing it for another, but because the previous one was also just an accommodation along the path. It is the path that is permanent in thought. And the paths of thought contain the mystery that they can be walked upon both backwards and forwards alike. In fact it is only the backwards leading road that takes us forward.’
