From El Greco To Rippl-Rónai

An exhibition celebrating the work of Marcell Nemes, an art patron and world-famous collector at the same time. During his lifetime he donated several artworks to Hungarian and foreign museums (to the Prado in Madrid and the Louvre in Paris for example). The material of this exhibition contains antique vases, medieval sculptures, the finest works of old Italian and Netherlandish masters, Nemes’s El Greco collection besides figures of Hungarian fine arts such as Mihály Munkácsy, Károly Ferenczy, József Rippl-Rónai, Pál Szinyei Merse, Béla Uitz, Károly Kernstok and János Vaszary, among others.
