One of the latest additions to the city’s platter of events aimed at the English speaking crowd is a loved-up one. Love it or hate it, speed dating has hit Budapest. Expats and Hungarians are invited to shop for that special someone via seven-minute chats. The standard rules apply: everyone gets a number and a scorecard to rate their swift “date”, and every seven minutes the guys will be asked to move on to the next lucky lady. At the end of the night, scorecards are collected and those mutually interested in each other will be handed the golden ticket – the contact details of their match.
