Ten days of horse shows and competitions of all kinds, for kids and adults alike, in friendly Zánka. It’s all about the traditions that surround horse breeding, riding and driving, with Hungarian cowboys (they’re called csikós, and they can ride fi ve horses at once!) and horsemen from all through Hungarian history, from the tribal horsemen who settled Hungary to the amazing archers who shoot their arrows from galloping horses, the proud hussars of the revolution of 1848 to the cattle-herders of the Hungarian plains, plus Western riders, since the American cowboy culture has taken hold here too! There’ll be folk culture and countryside crafts, music and dance, and needless to say, food and wine… |  Régen táborozni jártunk Zánkára, most pedig tÃz napig a lovaké a fÅ‘szerep a volt úttörÅ‘táborban. Itt mindent megtudhatsz a lovakról, a lótenyésztésrÅ‘l és a lovaglásról, amit sosem tudtál megkérdezni. Megelevenednek a letűnt korok lovas hagyományai, a lóhátról Ãjazó honfoglaló vezérektÅ‘l a ’48- as huszárokig, a bakonyi betyároktól a hortobágyi csikósokig mindenki megmutatja, mit tud, sÅ‘t, lesznek igazi lasszózó amerikai cowboyok is! És persze, mint minden fesztiválon, itt is lesz kirakodóvásár, népzene és néptánc, fi nom ételek és jó borok… |
