refl ecting on his summer at Balaton, where he waited
for a blue-eyed girl at the Tihany pier who never came, but he found another and messed around with her in the reeds…

When Badacsony mountain was still a volcano,
the lord of the volcano fell in love with a girl, who
turned out to be a mermaid. She jumped into the
lake, and the volcano was snuffed out.

Balatoni Legendárium
Mikor Szent Péter és Jézus a Balatonnál járt, találkoztak egy szegény halásszal, aki tőle tel hetően
megetette, megitatta és elszállásolta őket.
Hálából ők a földeket termékennyé, a vizet halban
gazdaggá tették. Â
Balatonedericsen az iskola udvarán áll egy öreg
fa, ami alatt a legenda szerint még a modern Magyarország egyik atyja, Deák Ferenc is üldögélt.
Mikor a Badacsony még vulkán volt, a hegy ura
szerelmes lett egy lányba. Csalogatta is kedvesét,
de kiderült, hogy ő egy sellő. A lány után
a tóba vetette magát, Ãgy aludt ki a vulkán.
