Spring Clean Your Body
You’ve probably heard of, or might even have finished already, spring cleaning the house. Why stop there when you can also spring clean your body too? Holmes Place has put together a few tips for you to jump start your body for the season.
Avoid all foods that come in boxes or cans, these are processed and have little if any nutritional value and they actually cause a ‘clogging’ in the system.
Try and consume only organic fruits and vegetables as well as consuming a good amount of dark leafy greens.
Drink as much water as you can – we know how important it is, but we usually forget it. Create a habit and bring 2 bottles of water to work, put them on your desk, and each time you look at the bottle, drink a bit of it.
During the cleansing period, you should do only gentle sports because your body is working hard to get the rid of toxins. Don’t try to run100 milesan hour. Choose yoga or body art and relax your body and mind at the same time.
