Have you ever dreamed of crossing the threshold of the oh-so-mysterious and so-hard-to-enter world of film-makers? Aye, so have we. That’s why we decided to bring you a ground-breaking debut, lovely FUNZINE friends: the FUNZINE CineFest Trip, at The CineFest International Festival of Young Filmmakers, Miskolc, between September 18th and 20th!

Synopsis (warning! contains spoilers)
On a September day, realizing their once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, a bunch of happy film buffs decide to leap into action and mov(i)e their body to Northern Fungary, Miskolc to be precise. Their battle against time begins. Over a span of only three days, they see countless flicks from the four corners of the world at the Cinefest International Festival of Young Filmmakers, befriend up-and-coming directors and all sorts of film folks, attend a conference, party their socks off, and then soak their tired limbs in a cave-turned-spa bath. They even manage to sneak into the VIP reception… Will they register before it’s too late?

Location: Miskolc

Runtime: three days (September 18-20, 2009)

Sound effects: ŽAGAR live concert on September 18th

Budget: 16,000 HUF/person, which includes:
• bus (from Budapest to Miskolc and back), hired by FUNZINE
• 2 nights in a hotel room (2/3 people/room), bang in the city center
• breakfast
• tickets to the film screenings and the conference
• exclusive entry to the award ceremony, plus the VIP reception and dinner
• guided tour in Miskolc (in English, of course)
• trip to the Miskolctapolca Cave Bath
• ticket to the ŽAGAR gig
• FUN, FUN, FUN
