Do aliens have human emotions, desires and needs? We ventured out onto the expat-trodden streets of Budapest to find out where these odd species originate, how they are hob-nobbing with Hungarians, what weird and wonderful things they’ve been up to and why…

If you had a magic wand, what would you change about Budapest? I’d make people happier

What’s the weirdest thing that’s happened to you in Hungary? Getting interviewed for TV while waiting 5 hours for a train to Bratislava at Keleti station.

Tell us something everyone should do in Budapest before minus temperatures set in.  Go to Normafa, enjoy the sun, the view and eat túrós rétes!

If you had a magic wand, what would you change about Budapest? I’d give Hungarian buildings a face-lift!

What’s the weirdest thing that’s happened to you in Hungary? Everything was weird at first! You have to know Hungary and Hungarians to love it.

Tell us something everyone should do in Budapest before minus temperatures set in.  Ice-skating outdoors – it’s especially enchanting at night!

What’s the weirdest thing that’s happened to you in Hungary? Having the experience of watching a mother give her baby beer at a pub in Debrecen!

Tell us something everyone should do in Budapest before minus temperatures set in.  Enjoy the fall foliage on Margitsziget (cheap hot wine at the northern end)!
